PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for records pertaining to impugned order dt 18.7.2014 bearing Lr.No.SE/CEDC/M/CBE/AEE/Civil/F.Registration/D391/14 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to renew the registration of the petitioner as Class I Contractor in the respondents department for the financial year 2014-2015 by permitting the petitioner to participate in the tenders to be floated by the respondent Department.

O R D E R

The relief sought for to quash the impugned order dated 18.07.2014, informing the petitioner that the Suit in O.S.No.790 of 2014 was pending and therefore, the registration has to be renewed subject to the outcome of the said Civil Suit.

2. However, the relief sought for is to renew the registration of the petitioner as Class I Contractor in the respondent department for the Financial Year 2014-15 by permitting the petitioner to participate in the Tenders to be floated by the respondent Department.

3. The original registration granted to the petitioner itself had expired in the year 2016. Furthermore, the relief as such sought for is also relating to the Financial Year 2014-15 and thus, the cause did not exists as of now. If at all the petitioner wants to get registration afresh or to renew as the case may be, he is at liberty to file an appropriate application in the manner known to law.

4. With this liberty, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
