A.No.2780 of 2022 in O.P.No.495 of 2013 SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY, J The applicant seeks payment out of a sum of Rs.50 lacs which is lying to the credit of O.P.No.495 of 2013. This application is filed pursuant to order dated 10.02.2022 by which the arbitral award was set aside in part and upheld in part.
2. Learned standing counsel for the respondents placed on record the communication dated 18.10.2022, which was received by learned counsel. In terms thereof, the respondents have instructed the learned standing counsel to take necessary action for the transfer of amounts of Rs.24,12,000/- and Rs.25,88,000/-, which were deposited by the respondents in court, to the applicant herein.
3. Therefore, there is no impediment to this application being allowed. Accordingly, this application is allowed by directing the Registry to pay out a sum of Rs.50 lacs which is lying to the credit of O.P.No.495 of 2013, after effecting deductions if any.
