The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to take appropriate steps to safeguard the limb, liberties and life of one K.R.Ramaswamy @ Traffic Ramaswamy, Senior Citizen/Social Activist who is remanded in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai and to provide all amenities to the said inmate.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that during the pendency of this writ petition, the person, for whom the relief is sought herein, has breathed his last and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. 3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
