Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order in G.O.(3D) No.12, Adi-Dravidar and Tribal Welfare (LA2) Department dated 30.04.2013 passed by the first respondent and quash the same; consequently, direct the respondents 1 to 5 to issue house site patta to the petitioners, in the lands comprised in Survey Nos.59/2B, 59/3B, 59/4A1, 59/4, 89/1A and 59/4C etc. (Originally Survey No.59) in karipatti Village in Valapady Taluk in Salem District, as per the original acquisition covered in Award in No.16/79-80 dated 25.03.1989, within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Court. O R D E R

In the cause title of the writ petition it is stated that Mr.K.P.Mannar Mannan alone is the petitioner whereas the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition would show that there are 139 persons arrayed as petitioners. This Court by order dated 18.08.2014 directed the Registry to number the petition only insofar as the 4th petitioner (K.P.Mannar Mannan) mentioned in the affidavit. Now the said petitioner wants to withdraw the writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the writ petition.

2. Accordingly, leave is granted.

3. With the above observation, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected M.Ps. are closed.
