Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third and fourth respondents herein to take disciplinary action against the fifth respondent for having caused huge financial loss to the Government

by misusing his official position in violation of Government orders by granting approvals for appointments when there are 261 excess posts which are available, based on the petitioner's representation dated 22.02.2018 within time-frame as deem fit and proper. For the Petitioner :

ORDER

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that, with the passage of time, the relief claimed in this writ petition has become infructuous.
