Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st Respondent herein to take appropriate action and pass appropriate orders enabling the Petitioners who have acquired Diploma in General and Midwifery from Government Institution and registered with the Tamil Nursing Council prior to the year 2015 to be granted appointment as Staff Nurse within a limited. The petitioners who are qualified as staff nurses and who have acquired Diploma in General and Midwifery from Government Institutions and registered with the Tamil Nadu Nursing Council seek issuance of Writ of Mandamus to consider their claim for being appointed as Staff Nurses in the Government Department.
3. Mr.Akhil Akbar Ali, Learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3.
4. Considering the fact that the petitioners have completed their course in a recognized institution. Hence, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 1 to 3, to consider the claim of the petitioners and accommodate them, if they are found suitable. The Government may also consider by accommodating the petitioners in the newly created posts. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
