2.The petitioner being a senior citizen seeks a direction to the first respondent to dispose of Civil Miscellaneous Appeal dated 14.03.2017 filed under Section 16 of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 within a reasonable time.

3.Considering the prayer sought for and taking into consideration of the scope and ambit of the enactment, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal dated 14.03.2017 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
