ORDER
This Court, by its order, dated 13.07.2023, has allowed the above writ petition with a direction to the Labour Court to provide opportunity to the parties and dispose of the I.D.No.218 of 2010 dated 03.07.2013 and complete it within a period of six months from
the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
2. However, the time granted by this Court got expired as early as on 03.02.2014, within which, the proceedings in I.D.No.218 of 2010 was not completed. Subsequently, this Court, vide order dated 06.06.2024 has granted further period of six (6) months. Even then, the Presiding Officer (FAC), Labour Court, Salem has not completed the proceedings in I.D.No.218 of 2010. Subsequently, the Presiding Officer (FAC), Labour Court, Salem, has sent a letter dated 31.01.2025 to the Registrar General seeking further extension of four months time to dispose of the said case. Accordingly, the matter is listed today under the caption 'for extension of time'.
3. In view of the above, this Court, is inclined to grant further period of four months to dispose of the case in I.D.No.218 of 2010 and the the Presiding Officer (FAC), Labour Court, Salem is directed to expedite the proceedings and complete it within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 25-02-2025 RAP To
