Prayer : Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondent police to provide suitable police protection to the petitioner based on the complaint/ representation dated 09.01.2020 to the 3rd respondent for which CSR NO.25 of 2020 was issued and subsequent complaint/ representation dated 02.03.2020 to the 1st respondent. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Amarnath For respondents : Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, Addl. Public Prosecutor for R1 to R3

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to provide suitable police protection to the petitioner based on the representation dated 09.01.2020 .

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in respect of the property dispute, he had already filed a suit in O.S.No.37 of 2017 on the file of the Principal District Court, Vellore for permanent injunction and the same was decreed. On the strength of the same, now the petitioner is seeking for police protection.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances, the petitioner is directed to produce the documents with the Civil Court decree before the third respondent. On receipt of the same, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner, after issuing notice to the fourth respondent and also after giving opportunity of hearing and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
