This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent police to file final report in Crime No.27 of 2014 dated 24.01.2014, offence U/S. 147, 148, 363, 380, 560 (i) of IPC in accordance with law.

2. Today, Mr. P. Rajendhiran, Sub Inspector of Police, Erumapatty Police Station was present in the Court. When the matter was taken up for hearing, on instructions, Mrs.P. Kritika Kamal, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), submitted that the investigation in Crime No.27 of 2013 was completed and the case has been closed as early as 30.01.2014, as mistake of fact.

3. Recording the same, this petition is closed. The copy of the closure report dated 30.01.2014 is furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar.
