This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second Respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner life and limb by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 15.03.2024.
2. The case of the petitioners is that the petitioner is the legal heir of one Muniyappachetti and the subject properties originally belongs to the Muniyappachetti and Veerappachetti. The 4th and 5th respondents are the adjacent land owners. Without document, the respondents 4 & 5 were encroaching the petitioner's land and constructing compound wall. When the petitioner was questioning the act of the private respondents, they abused the petitioner with filthy language and threatened with dire consequences. Hence, the petitioner made a representation seeking Police protection on 15.03.2024 to the respondents, but the same was not considered and no action has been taken. Hence, the present petition has been filed.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that without going into the merits of the case, this Court may grant liberty to the 2/4
petitioner to file a civil suit in the manner known to law before the competent civil Court.
4. In view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court grants liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
5. With the above said liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
