O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to withdraw the proceedings in M.C.No.24 of 2016 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Ambathur and transfer the same to the file of the II Additional Family Court, Chennai.

2. Heard Ms.V.S.Usharani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Singaravelu, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no objection if the proceedings in M.C.No.24 of 2016 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Ambattur, is transferred to the file of the II Additional Family Court, Chennai, to be tried along with Crl.O.P.No.3159 of 2016 pending on the file of the II Additional Family Court, Chennai.

4. In view of the said submission, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur, to transfer the proceedings in M.C.No.24 of 2016 to the file of the II Additional Family Court, Chennai. Such an exercise shall be made within a

period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
