ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 17.02.2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 120(b),147,148 and 341 and 302 of I.P.C in Crime No.27 of 2021, seek bail.
2. Totally there are 12 accused in this case and the petitioner herein arrayed as A8. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the deceased belong to two different political parties and there was enmity between them, due to which the petitioner along with other accused assaulted the deceased using Arival and subsequently the defacto complainant's husband died. Hence, a case has been registered against the petitioner and other accused.
3. The counsel for the petitioner submit that the petitioner had not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed the bail application by stating that the petitioner along with other accused murdered the accused. She further submits that the investigation is still pending.

5. Considering the gravity of offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
