ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner has sent a representation dated 23.4.2014 against the unauthorised and deviated constructions by respondent No.3 at Door No.4/34B, Alikhan Street, Alandur, Chennai-16 to the respondent authorities/respondent Nos.1 and 2, but to no avail and thus filed the present petition.

2. No counter-affidavit has been filed.

3. The learned counsel for the Corporation states that he has received instructions that today morning respondent No.3 has commenced the removal of unauthorised construction itself. If that be the position, respondent No.3 can be given a reasonable time period of not more than fifteen days to remove the unauthorised construction, whereafter, the Corporation will inspect the property and if any unauthorised construction remains, shall proceed against the same.
