The above Petition is filed to withdraw and transfer HMOP.No.53 of 2023 pending on the file of the Family Court, Thiruvallur to the Family Court, Salem.

2. Reasons for seeking the transfer are as follows:- (i) The petitioner/wife along with her daughter is residing with her parents in Salem.

(ii) The distance between the present residence of the petitioner/wife to the Family Court, Thiruvallur is more than 338 kms.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

4. In the above circumstances, the request for transfer appears reasonable. Therefore, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and HMOP.No.53 of 2023 pending on the file of the Family Court, Thiruvallur is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Salem. The presence of the respondent/husband before the Family Court, Salem is dispensed with on all hearings except for adducing evidence and for counseling. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
