Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the 1st respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.08.2017 for issuance of patta.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 16.08.2017, the 1st respondent has not passed any order so far.

4.Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.08.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks.

opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.08.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
