ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to forbear the respondents from constructing water tank or any other structure in the land, based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2026.

2. The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that in the property, which was earlier earmarked for a park, the respondents are now attempting to construct a water tank, which, according to him, is illegal. In such circumstances, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.Shajahan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent; and Mr.M.Rajamathivanan, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the second respondent.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the aforesaid representation of the petitioner is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2026 seeking to forbear the respondents from constructing a water tank or any other structure in the subject property, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the aforesaid representation of the petitioner. No Costs.
