O R D E R

This petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.443 of 2014 on the file of the respondent and to direct transfer of investigation to some other competent agency and file the final report.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the brother of the petitioner, who was travelling in the bus belonging to the State Transport Corporation fell down from the bus, since the bus had started moving even before he got down from the bus FIR was registered in Crime No.443 of 2014 for offences under Sections 279, 304 (A) of IPC and till date there is absolutely no progress in the investigation.

3. The status report filed by the respondent police shows that except for the driver and conductor, no one else has been examined till date and there is no progress in the investigation.

Taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to hand over the entire case diary to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thiruvallur District, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this order. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thiruvallur, shall proceed further with the investigation by examining all the witnesses and shall complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible and file a final report.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
