The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 417 and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No. Not known of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submitted that on receipt of the complaint from one Manimegalai, issued the petition enquiry in C.S.R.No.119 of 2020 and subsequently after enquiry it was closed on jurisdiction point. Therefore, no petition is pending on the file of the respondent police as against the petitioner. 3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent police, this criminal original petition is closed.
