Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents herein to extend the license in favour of the petitioner for running the catering stall at platform No.8/9 between pillar 20 and 21 in Chennai Central Railway Station, Chennai till the new tender/auction as per the new policy to be framed is conducted, finalized and handed over by the respondents herein to the new contractor.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought by the petitioner has become infructuous, since subsequent to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

filing of this writ petition, new tender was called and therefore, nothing survives in the petition for further adjudication.

2. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
