(Order of the Court was made by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI, J.) The petitioner stated to be the resident of No.30/1 Venkatesa Naicker 1st Street, Anna Salai, Chennai-2, has come up with this petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to initiate action in pursuance to the locking, sealing and demolition notice dated 10th November, 2014 against the respondents 6 to 8 in respect of the property bearing No.2A Venkatesan 2nd Street, Mount Road, Chennai-600 002.
Pursuant to the notice of this Court, the third respondent has filed a report dated 24th July, 2015 submitting that notwithstanding an opportunity given to the occupants of the building for removal of unauthorised deviated portion and also not responding to locking, sealing and demolition notice, the building in question has been locked and sealed on 23rd July, 2015. In that view of the matter, we are not inclined to pass any further order in the matter in question. The writ petition is disposed of. It is open to the private respondents to take recourse to the procedure known to law. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
