O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to conduct enquiry based on the representation made by the petitioners wherein the petitioners are seeking for issuance of joint patta in the name of legal heirs of late M.Abdul Malick.

2. Heard Mr.K.Shahul Hameed, learned counsel for petitioners and Mr.S.Jayachandran, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the 2/4

case and considering the materials placed before this Court and also taking note of the fact that proceedings are pending on the file of second respondent, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioners on 29.01.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to respondents 4 to 7 and final orders shall be passed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
