By way of filing this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to give license to run a Bunk shop near Canara Bank bus stop, Ambattur, Chennai, pursuant to his representation dated 01.02.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents. With their consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner, who has studied only up to 10th standard, is a disabled person with 70% disability. He has been operating a small bunk shop near Canara Bank bus stop, Ambattur, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Chennai, and therefore, he has sent a representation dated 01.02.2012 to the respondents 2 and 3 requesting them to grant license to run the bunk shop in that place. However, till date, they did not give any reply.

4. Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate, by accepting notice for the first respondent, sought two months to consider his representation on merits.

5. Thus, in view of the narrow prayer made by the petitioner, this Court directs the respondents to consider his representation dated 01.02.2017 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
