O R D E R

According to the petitioner, petitioner's father executed a gift deed in the year 1945 to the second respondent for construction of Leprosy Sanatorium within a period of five years of the execution of the gift deed. The petitioner was constrained to file writ petition in W.P.No.21837 of 2017 before this Court and the same was disposed of on 11.9.2017. Further,

the petitioner preferred W.A.No.1448 of 2017 and the same was disposed of on 13.11.2017. This Court in the appeal passed an order, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders. Pursuant to the order passed in the writ appeal, the petitioner has submitted a representation, dated 2.1.2018 to the first respondent for return of the land, however, there is no response from the first respondent. Therefore, he has filed the present writ petition. Now, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks direction to the first respondent to consider his representation within a time that may be specified by this Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent would submit that the said representation may be considered on merit and appropriate orders will be passed.

3. In view of the aforesaid submissions of the parties, without expressing any opinion on merit, this Court is inclined to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 2.1.2018 and pass orders in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
