On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.231 of 2018 on
11.04.2018 for the offences under Section 147, 148, 294[b], 323, 324 and 506[2] IPC against Amjath and seven named others and unnamed others. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the respondent Police are not properly conducting the investigation and therefore, the petitioner has filed the present petition with the above prayer.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.On reading of the FIR, it is seen that the petitioner attempted to mediate the matrimonial dispute between one Afrin Banu and Zakir Hussain, on account of that, he has alleged that he was attacked by the accused on 07.02.2018. Hence, the complaint and the FIR.
4.In the opinion of this Court, this is not a fit case to transfer the investigation to the CBCID. It is seen that the Sub Inspector of Police has registered the FIR and therefore, this Court directs the Inspector of Police to expeditiously complete the investigation in Crime No.231 of 2018 and either file a Closure Report or a Charge Sheet as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant. With the above direction, this petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS V) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar gya To
