Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the order of the 2nd Respondent dated 19.03.2020 in Na.Ka.No. 002618/E1/2020 and quash the same and consequently direct the Respondents 1 to 5 to promote the Petitioners as Headmasters in the Tamil Medium Panchayat Union Primary Schools at Pallipattu Union, Tiruttani Educational District, Thiruvallur District.

This matter is taken up for hearing through VideoConferencing.

2. This writ petition is abuse of process of Court. The petitioners in this writ petition have filed W.P.No.8065 of 2020 with the same relief along with two other persons namely Amirthavalli and K.S.Selvi.

3. The said writ petition came up before me on 11.06.2020 and the same was directed to be posted along with W.A.No.318 of 2020 which is pending. Suppressing the pendency of the said writ petition, the petitioners have come up with the present writ petition.

4. These writ petitioners are all parties to that writ petition and the order impugned in this writ petition has been passed pursuant to a direction of the Division Bench. I heard Mr.Chandra Kumar who appeared for petitioners in W.P.No:8065 of 2020 at length and directed the matter to be placed before the Division Bench. I have also observed that the pendency of the

writ petition cannot be a bar for considering promotion of the respondents therein. Despite the same, suppressing the pendency of W.P.No: 8065 of 2020, the petitioners, who belong to the noble profession of teaching, have filed this Writ Petition on 17.06.2020.

5. I am convinced that it is an attempt to hoodwink the Court. Hence this writ petition is dismissed with cost of Rs.5,000/- payable by each of the petitioners to the Chief Minister's Covid Relief Fund.

6. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs. The registry is directed to put up a copy of this order along with the papers in W.P.No: 8065 of 2020. Sd/- Assistant Registrar //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar vum To
