ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The prayer in the writ petition is forbearing the respondents from permitting sand quarrying in Kusasthalai River in Korakan Thandalam village, Thiruvallur Taluk and District.

2. The learned Advocate General, on instruction states that the quarrying activities have already been closed on 27.09.2011 in Korakan Thandalam village, Thiruvallur Taluk.

3. In view of the aforesaid, no further directions are required and the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, M.P.No.1 of 2011 is closed.
