Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.07.2018, and thereby direct the respondent to depute the surveyor to measure the petitioner's property and to issue patta for the property of the petitioner situated at vacant land bearing Door No.24, 3rd Cross Street, Kumaran Nagar, Chinmaya Nagar Stage -II, Chennai, comprised in T.S.No.50, Block No.68, Grama Natham Survey Nos.205/2A1 part & 118/2A1A1A1 of Koyambedu Village, Egmore-Nungambakkam Taluk, presently Aminjikarai Taluk, Chennai District measuring an extent of 2414 Sq.ft. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.07.2018, and thereby direct the respondent to depute the surveyor to measure the petitioner's property and to issue patta for the property of the petitioner situated at vacant land bearing Door No.24, 3rd Cross Street, Kumaran Nagar, Chinmaya Nagar Stage -II, Chennai, comprised in T.S.No.50, Block No.68, Grama Natham Survey Nos.205/2A1 part & 118/2A1A1A1 of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Koyambedu Village, Egmore-Nungambakkam Taluk, presently Aminjikarai Taluk, Chennai District measuring an extent of 2414 Sq.ft.

2. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate entered appearance for the first Respondent and submitted that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 21.05.2021 at 11.00 a.m at the office of the first respondent.

3.The said statement of the learned Government Advocate is recorded.

4. In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the first respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of eight (8) weeks (after the conclusion of the General Elections to the Legislative Assembly - 2021) from 21.05.2021. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
