... RESPONDENTS/ RESPONDENTS Contempt Petition filed Under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 praying to punish the respondents for their willful disobedience of the order passed by this Hon'ble Court in WP.No.42943 of 2016 dated 20.02.2017.

The above Contempt Petition coming on this day before this Court for hearing in the presence of M/s.J.Pradeep, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner herein; and of Mr.M.K.J.Shivakumar, learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent herein; and upon reading the petition and the affidavit of I.Geroge Purushothaman, filed herein; the Court made the following order:

"The learned counsel for the Respondent filed the counter affidavit wherein they stated that they have paid the following amount to the Petitioner.

SETTLEMENT DETAILS AS PER SCHDULE SETTLEMENT DETAILS GRATUITY AMOUNT 6,50,754.00 Gratuity paid on 23/05/2017 6,50,754.00 Interest Paid on 16.08.2018 1,10,628.00 for the period from 01.07.2014 to 16.08.2018 Commutation Amount 3,01,155.00 Settled Installments 2,13,318.00 Paid by Pension Trust 60,100.00 on 04.12.2017 Paid by Pension Trust 27,737.00 on 02.01.2018 LEAVE LIABILITY ANOUNT 2,33,597.00 ECS made on 16.10.2017 4,000.00 ECS made on 31.10.2017 35,000.00 ECS made on 12.01.2018 1,94,597.00 Interest Paid on 18.09.2018 45,580.00 for the period from 01.07.2014 to 30.09.2017

2. The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that pension arrears with settlement arrears has not been paid by the Respondents till date.

3. The Respondent is directed to file a memo on the next date of hearing with regard to the pension arrears and settlement arrears. In case the petitioner is entitled to the above said amount, the Respondent shall take steps to pay the said amount by the next date of hearing. Post the matter after four weeks."
