Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to cause the production of the body and person of the petitioner Sonukumar @ Vivekanandan, son of Premchand Prasad, aged 24 years, now confined in Central Prison, Coimbatore, before this Court and to set him at liberty.

In the past hearing i.e. on 18.12.2014, as there was no representation for the petitioner, the matter was ordered to be posted under the caption "for dismissal". Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner and the petitioner is also called absent.
