Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to regularize the petitioner service as a Driver from the date of initial appointment i.e., 21.03.2011 with all consequential service and monetary benefits.

ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus directing the second respondent to regularize the petitioner service as a Driver from the date of initial appointment i.e., 21.03.2011 with all consequential service and monetary benefits.

2. The petitioner along with 63 others, who are working as temporary Drivers, had made a request to the third respondent seeking regularization of their service and the same was forwarded to the second respondent vide proceedings in Ref.No.6995/2021/E1 dated 28.08.2021 and since there was no progress thereafter, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.T.Arunkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents.

4. In the light of the above, this Court, without expressing anything on merits, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's request seeking for regularization, based on the communication forwarded by the third respondent to the second respondent and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
