With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner was imposed with the punishment of dismissal from service by the third respondent by an order dated 10.2.2009. His appeal to the second respondent was also dismissed on 03.07.2009. Hence, the petitioner has preferred a Revision Petition before the first respondent on 01.09.2009, to reverse the orders of the respondents 2 & 3. Now, a limited prayer is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, seeking to direct the first respondent to pass orders on the Revision Petition dated 01.09.2009, within a time frame.

3.In view of the narrow scope of the prayer now made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider the Revision Petition filed by the petitioner dated 01.09.2009, and pass appropriate orders on merit and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
