ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to alter the FIR by including the provisions of TNPPDL Act in Crime No.27 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent police.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made a representation to the second respondent on 27.02.2024 to alter the FIR and the same has not been considered. Hence, this Court may direct the second respondent to alter the FIR by including the provisions of TNPPDL Act in Cr.No.27 of 2024. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent police has been conducted investigation and charge sheet has been filed on 05.02.2024. 5.In view of the above, the criminal original petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out the remedy in the manner known to law.
