ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Family Court, Salem to expedite the trail in MC.No.33 of 2022 pending on the file of the Family Court, Salem and dispose the case within the stipulated time.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the maintenance case filed by the petitioners against the respondent in the year 2022 and the respondent has not filed any counter till today. Without any progress, the case is pending from 2022. The petitioners are struggling to meet out their livelihood. Hence, this Court may direct the concerned court to expedite the trial within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the fact that the case is of the year 2022, this Court directs the learned Judge, Family court, Salem to expedite the trial in M.C.No.33 of 2022 and complete the proceedings as early as possible and not later than six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
