ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in S.No.63/1, Kadavambakkam, Thindivanam Taluk, Villupuram.

2. According to the petitioner, he is residing in Grama Natham Land in Survey No.63/1, Kadavambakkam, Thindivanam taluk, Villupuram. He has also put up a thatched house. Earlier, he has applied for a house site patta to the Subcollector on 25.01.2021. But, so far no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent would submit that already patta was granted in the name of the mother of the petitioner, namely, Velankanni, and now, the petitioner filing another application seeking for patta, which is not permissible.

4. However, considering the fact that the petitioner's application is pending with the Sub-Collector, Tindivanam, without going into the merits of the case, the Sub Collector, Tindivanam is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.01.2021 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law after giving opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
