O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that on a complaint given by one Seetharaman, Advocate, High Court, Chennai that the petitioner is not having law qualification and that he impersonated as a lawyer, petition enquiry is pending and the petitioner is called for enquiry.

4. Taking into consideration the serious nature of allegation, no blanket direction as prayed for by the petitioner can be given. However, the petitioner is directed to co-operate with the enquiry. During the course of enquiry, the petitioner should not be harassed and if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is directed to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
