This application is filed to amend the cause title. On the basis of the amalgamation approved by this Court by order dated 16.06.2015 made in CP. No.149 of 2015, the name of the plaintiff has to be amended i.e. the transferee company.

The defendant was already set exparte in the suit itself.

The amendment is not going to change the nature of the suit.

2. Hence, this Court is of the view that the amendment can be allowed and accordingly, the application is ordered. The plaintiff is directed to carry out the necessary amendment by 21.12.2016.
