ORDER
This writ petition is filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 18.12.2023 and 01.02.2024 and cancel the patta in favour of Perumal Patta No.534 and Ezhumalai in Patta No.1466 and issue patta in petitioner's favour in respect of Survey No.74/2B1, 14.5 Ares (36 Cents) in Ozhalai Village based on the sale deed in Document No.1658/2012.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the absolute owner of the property in Survey No.74/2B1, 14.5 Ares (36 Cents) in Ozhalai Village. However, the patta stands in the name of the respondents 3 and 4. Hence, he made representations on 18.12.2023 and 01.02.2024 seeking to cancel the patta issued in favour of respondents 3 and 4 and issue the same in the name of the petitioner, which is pending without consideration. Hence, seeks directions.
4. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the first 2/4
respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.02.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the respondents 3 and 4. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
