This Writ Petition is filed to issue writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct the yearly Kandhur Sandhanakkuda Uroos Festival, to be conducted between 20.04.2024, 21.04.2024 and 22.04.2024 based on the representation dated 06.02.2024.

2. Since, there is a rival claim between Mutawalli whom to conduct Sandhanakkuda Uroos Festival, the Wakf Board is the competent authority to decide.

3. The Learned Counsel appearing for the 5th respondent/Wakf Board states that after the election, (i.e., 19.04.2024) meeting will be conducted and decision will be taken about the date and person whom to conduct festival.

4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 10.04.2024 Page No.3/5
