..Respondents Prayer : The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of declaration declaring that the selection and appointment to the post of Senior Lecturer (Civil) in P.T.Lee Chengalvaraya Naicker Polytechnic College pursuant to the interview held on 31.12.2007 is illegal, without jurisdiction and void and consequently direct the respondents 1 and 2 to make selection and appointment to the post of Senior Lecturer ( Civil) by following the proper communal roaster and age criteria as are applicable as per the order in force.

ORDER

The petitioner prays to issue a writ of declaration, declaring that the selection and appointment to the post of Senior Lecturer (Civil) in P.T.Lee Chengalvaraya Naicker Polytechnic College pursuant to the interview held on 31.12.2007 is illegal, without jurisdiction and void and consequently direct the respondents 1 and 2 to make selection and appointment to the post of Senior Lecturer ( Civil) by following the proper communal roaster and age criteria as are applicable as per the order in force.

2.When the matter was called on 04.06.2018 the learned counsel for the petitioner and respondents are present and as per their request the matter was adjourned to 08.06.2018 3.When the matter was called on 08.06.2018, there was no appearance for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents submit that nothing survives in this writ petition. So the matter was adjourned to today i.e., 11.06.2018 under the caption "for dismissal". Even today, when the matter is called, there is no representation for the petitioner.
