Writ Petition filed under Section Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to demarcate and survey the petitioner's property in Paimash No.581, Revenue Survey No.82/18, Ward E, Block 13, Town Survey No.81/2, measuring an extent of East West 60 ft North South 81 ft totalling 4860 sq.ft at Adambakkam Village, Alandur Taluk, Chennai District and to plant survey stones and consequently, effect sub division patta in favour of the petitioner.

2. After notice, this writ petition is taken up for further hearing today.
3. Heard Mr.N.Suresh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
4. The petitioner claiming to be the owner of the subject matter property seeks for a direction to the respondents to demarcate and survey the said property and consequently, to effect sub division patta, based on her request already made on 30.01.2020.
5. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner as it is for the respondents 3 & 4 to consider and decide. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondents 3 & 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.01.2020 for survey of the land etc., and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing all the parties concerned. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents 3 & 4 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
