This Writ Petition has been filed for quashment of the order of the 2nd respondent in Ref.No.021097/E6/4/2020-3 dated 09.06.2020 and consequently, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to transfer and posting the petitioner as Assistant Surgeon (Dental) in Bhavani Government Hospital, Erode District in the existing vacancy in terms of the Regulations framed in G.O(2D).No.131, Health and Family Welfare Department dated 20.11.2017 and as per the circular in Ref.No.18441/E1/1/2020-2 dated 08.05.2020 issued by the 2nd respondent with all consequential and other attendant benefits.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that since the petitioner has joined duty in the transferred place i.e., Government Hospital, Bhavani from 27.06.2020, nothing survives for further adjudication. Therefore, the prayer sought for in the present Writ Petition has become infructuous. 2/4
3.Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
