PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent co consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2024 and consequently take necessary action against the said member officials who 1/6
are obstructing the petitioner from carrying out his duties, who are acting in a biased manner and discriminating the petitioner based on his caste, plundering money from the public and engaging in illegal activities and pass orders.

ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2024 and consequently take necessary action against the said member officials who are obstructing the petitioner from carrying out his duties, who are acting in a biased manner and discriminating the petitioner based on his caste, plundering money from the public and engaging in illegal activities and pass orders.
2. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel appearing for either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is a responsible 2/6
person for the selection of Trustee members committee for Arulmigu Thirugugeshwrar and Varahi Amman Temple, Pallur Village, which is under the control of Hindu Religious and Charitable endowment Committee. When this being the case the HR and CE officials without discussing the process of selection with the petitioner had selected 5 people as trustee committee members. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said elected people have been engaging in illegal activities like stealing statue of sacred idols and grabbing money and property owned by the temple. The village people also took efforts to put an end to the said crime. However, they were not able to control the crime. Further more the newly elected persons are preventing the petitioner from discharging his duties. Hence, the petitioner gave a representation to the first respondent on 13.03.2024. However, the same has not been considered. Hence, this petition.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if this Court issues a direction to the first respondent to consider petitioner's application dated 13.03.2024 and pass orders. 3/6
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first and second respondents and the Government Advocate appearing for the third respondent submitted that they will consider the case of the petitioner and take action in the manner known to law.
6. On a perusal of the complaint made by the petitioner this Court observed that the complaint was not specific and reliable and he has also not produced any records to prove the allegation. However, this Court, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.
7. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
