This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.08.2023 and disburse the compensation amount payable in respect of the property, being vacant house plot, bearing Nos.5, 12, 21 & 28 comprised in Survey No.307/1, 307/9, 307/8 of Vallakottai Village, Sriperumpudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, totally measuring an extent of 14,400 sq.ft to the petitioner, as contemplated under Section 7(3) of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997.

2. When the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the compensation amount has already been deposited in L.A.O.P. No.129 of 2024 Page 2/4

on the file of Sub Court, Kancheepuram. As the amount has already been deposited in the above LAOP, it is for the petitioner to approach the same court for release of the compensation.

3. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
