The petitioner appointed was Junior inspector of Sericulture under the 2nd respondent. The Junior Inspectors of Sericulture are entitled to promotion to the post of Assistant Inspector of Sericulture, whereas the post of Assistant Inspector of Sericulture is filled up by direct recruitment. request to the respondent to consider the diploma acquired by them, while considering candidates for promotion to the post of Assistant Inspector of Sericulture,. The representation made by the petitioner dated 21.09.2020 is pending without consideration. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner is before this Court.
2. Considering the limited prayer, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is given to the 1st respondent to consider the request of the petitioner dated 21.09.2020 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the order copy.
With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
