The Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.10.2017 on merits and appoint her to the post of Dental Doctor at the Primary Health Centre at Nellakottai as per the Advertisement dated 24.02.2017 and the interview conducted in Na.Ka.No.3045/H1/2009 dated 24.08.2017.

The petitioner belongs to Most Backward Community. She acquired B.D.S. Degree from Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University by completing 4 years BDS Course with one year Compulsory Rotatory Internship in October, 2015 from Tamil Nadu Government Dental College and Hospital, Chennai and thereafter, registered before the Dental Council of India. While so, there was an advertisement issued by the Deputy Director of Health Services, The Nilgiris, the 2nd respondent herein in Dinakaran News Paper dated 24.02.2017 inviting applications for filling up of one post of Dental Doctor in consolidated pay in the Primary Health Centre in Nilgiris District. The petitioner applied for the same. Subsequently, she was called for interview to be held on 12.09.2017. Accordingly, she participated in the same. But till date, the said post is not filled up. Hence, the petitioner gave a representation dated 23.10.2017 to the 1st respondent. But, till date there is no response for the same. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents prays for four weeks time to consider the representation of the petitioner. 4.
Considering the limited prayer made in the writ petition and also taking note of the submission now made by the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.10.2017 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
