Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to provide the petitioner adequate police protection to enable the petitioner to complete construction of the portion of his compound wall and to take action against the trespass by the villagers into the petitioner's patta land and pass such other or further orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to provide police protection to complete the construction of

the compound wall and take action against the trespass by the villagers into the petitioner's patta land.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner in C.S.R. No. 749 of 2024, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the counter parties, if any, and to dispose of the same, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
