ORDER

Today, when this writ petition was taken up for hearing, there was no appearance on behalf of the petitioner. Heard, the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

This writ petition has been filed, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent Bank to consider the loan application of the petitioner, dated Nil, and his representation, dated 16.5.2015, for the sanctioning of an educational loan for a sum of Rs.4,00,000/-, without insisting on any security. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the first respondent Bank had placed before this Court a copy of the sanction letter, issued by the first respondent Bank, dated 7.5.2016, sanctioning the loan, subject to the petitioner executing the necessary documents.

In such circumstances, this Court is of the view that no further orders are necessary in this writ petition. Hence, the writ petition stands closed. No costs.
