Heard both sides and perused the documents enclosed in the typed set of papers 2.According to the petitioner, she is residing at No.74, Lemaire Street, Karaikal, which is a joint family property and the electricity service connection was granted to the said property on 05.02.2021 in the name of her son, M.Chaik Davoud Marecar, however, the same was disconnected. Hence, the petitioner submitted representations dated 09.02.2021 and 16.03.2021 to the second respondent to get electricity reconnection to the said property. But, till date, no action was taken on the same, which compelled the petitioner to approach this Court with the present writ petition for appropriate direction in this regard.

3.Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, this Court directs the second respondent to consider https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner's representation dated 09.02.2021 and 16.03.2021, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as any other interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
