Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 5th respondent / Registrar, Annamalai University, to consider and pass orders on the petitioner representation dated 24.09.2024 determine the authenticity and legality of the teaching experience claimed by the 5th respondent, Dr. Suma Karthigeyan within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court, so as enable the petitioner and other qualified professors to hold the post of Dean in the Government Dental College/Erst while Rajah Mithiah Dental College and Hospital, Cuddalore District and her eligibility for permission retrial of salary. ORDER

The petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 4th respondent/ Registrar, Annamalai University, to consider and pass orders on the petitioner representation dated 24.09.2024 and determine the authenticity and legality of the teaching experience claimed by the 5th respondent, Dr. Suma Karthigeyan within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, so as enable the petitioner and other qualified professors to hold the post of Dean in the Government Dental College/Erst while Rajah Mithiah Dental College and Hospital, Cuddalore District and her eligibility for permission retrial of salary.

2.It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 that the petitioner has earlier filed W.P.No.5549 of 2026 for the very same relief, which she has withdrawn. While withdrawing the writ petition, she has not sought for liberty to file a fresh Writ Petition.
